Purpose of this report
Gatehouse Living Group is a vertically-integrated residential real estate
investment and management platform, comprising Gatehouse Investment
Management and Ascend Properties. The combination of these two
businesses allows Gatehouse Living Group to o昀昀er clients all the necessary
operational services to establish a successful residential platform.
The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of our organisation’s sustainability initiatives,
2024 achievements, and future goals.

Organisation pro昀椀le
Together Gatehouse Investment Management
(GIM) and Ascend have formed and worked
across five single-family rental (SFR) portfolios
since 2015. The portfolios have been created
through joint ventures with leading institutional
investors including the Kuwait Investment
Authority, The Carlyle Group, TPG Real Estate
Partners and Greykite.

Gatehouse Investment Management
established these portfolios through its
relationships with UK housebuilders, debt
providers and consultants. Across its five joint
ventures, it has provided fund investment and
asset management services to 5,000+ SFR
homes across 75+ neighbourhoods, investing
c. £1 billion into UK SFR housing.
Ascend Properties is the UK’s largest manager
of institutional single-family rental homes,
managing two-thirds of the entire UK SFR
market. It operates over 9,000 SFR homes
across 140+ neighbourhoods and 11,000+
homes in total including its multi-family BTR
and Buy to Let mandates, equating to £2 billion
of assets under its management.
